Do the Phones Your Employees Use Benefit Their Productivity?

Have you ever worked in a call center? From what we know, it’s not always the easiest job. Some days are great, you feel on top of the world, and others, fell more near the bottom. Angry customers, people who scream at “solicitors”, and people who hang-up on you mid sentence can get a salesperson down easily. In order to stay motivated, a salesperson needs the right equipment, right surroundings, and right motivation.

“Ringggggg!” That noise is heard by salespeople so often they probably hear it in their nightmares. At Tablio, we’re familiar… The right phone set will make this much too common sound slightly more pleasant. Not to mention, a phone set that doesn’t block out noise can make the salesperson, or the customer, become distracted during the customers. The only communication the customer has with the employee is often the quick phone conversation they have regarding a sale.

A recent blog post on Hubspot, “5 Highly-Rated Wireless Headsets for Call Center Agents & Customer Service Reps”, rates what they feel are the best headsets for salespeople to use. We’ll share what we like about each one:

  1. Jabra Elite 65t

The Jabra Elite 65t are wireless headphones with dual microphones, connection to Alexa, Siri or Google Assistant, and the ability to hear your own voice in one ear. These headphones are great for those making outbound sales calls and business owners.

  1. Apple AirPods

These headphones let you easily switch between listening to music and making a phone call. These headphones come in wired and non-wired options. The non-wired options are connected through Bluetooth.

  1. Bose QuietComfort 35

These headphones are excellent for loud, noisy offices. Bose is the best when it comes to noise cancelling. These headphones cancel all outside noise so you, and the customer, can clearly focus on the conversation.

  1. BeatsX

These headbands are similar to wired headbands, but are wireless. The headphones sit on a neckband that helps to keep the wireless headphones in your ears. The neckbands keeps the pods in your ears without a cord that hangs down by your side constantly getting in the way or knocking your pods out.

  1. Logitech H600

These headphones work great for a big team of salespeople. They are low cost, budget friendly, with a high quality design. These headphones are high quality, but won’t break the bank if your company has to supply them for a large quantity of people.
